Over the years, poverty has taken on many forms and has been addressed in many ways; yet, we would all agree that it still continues to be a growing issue.
This workshop will take a look at the history of poverty, various programs created to attack poverty, and what the Bible says about poverty. Learn the different types of poverty, how to identify the poverty in your community as well as attacking poverty by designing relevant programs and services. You will be surprised to learn what the poverty barriers are and what they are not as we seek to modernize poverty programs within each community according to its specific needs.
