Only God Can Draw the Heart
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44
When we love someone deeply, we often carry the weight of their salvation on our shoulders. Whether it’s a spouse, a child, or a friend, we plead, we counsel, we strive—trying everything to lead them to Jesus. But ultimately, only God can draw a heart.
Freedom from the Burden of Control
This truth doesn’t absolve us from praying, loving, or sharing. It frees us from control, and the weight of responsibility. It reminds us that our job is to point to the altar—but the fire comes from heaven. You are not the Savior. You are the servant, standing in the gap, believing for the one.
Trusting God to do the Drawing
Let today be the day you release the burden and renew your faith in the One who draws hearts. He sees them. He loves them more than you ever could. Your prayers matter. Your love matters. But salvation is His work. So, stand firm in faith, not in striving. Keep pointing to Jesus, and trust that the same God who reached you is still reaching them—even now.
